SUMMARY:Dr Olle Johansson – Electrohypersensitivity: A Functional Impairment due to a Toxic Environment?
DESCRIPTION:Is electrohypersensitivity (EHS) actually the new normal?\nIn this informative expert briefing\, Olle will cover research findings since the 1980s\, beginning with the trade unions’ focus on skin changes\, even though this had first been observed 100 years before. He will explain findings using various histological\, histopathological and molecular tools demonstrating alterations in mast cells\, dendritic cells\, lymphocytes\, Merkel cells\, and more. The very interesting dramatic reductions of nerve fibre densities in facial skin biopsies forms a scientific base to explain electrohypersensitivity. He will show how corresponding studies in rat models rule out the impact of psychological/psychiatric factors\, stress\, conditioning\, imagination\, mass media-driven psychoses\, etc. \nHe himself has conducted a double-blind test of electrohypersensitive persons using cell phones. He will report on open tests of normal healthy volunteers using household TV-sets and ordinary home computers. Why did it take 6 years for these to be published? He will also discuss his studies showing the connection of FM radio and malignant melanoma. He will examine the prevalence of EHS and the initial complaints – are they the same 2022 as 1982? Perhaps the most fundamental issue is: what is actually wrong here? Are we dealing with an individual functional impairment of electrohypersensitivity … or the toxic environment of electrosmog?

DESCRIPTION:What are Aegis destroyers & where do they go?\nThis short Global Network monthly space video reveals how the Navy Aegis warships of US-NATO are setting up a first-strike attack system aimed at China and Russia. \nThese warships are loaded with both the ‘sword and the shield’ – Tomahawk nuclear capable cruise missiles and the SM-3 ‘missile defense’ systems whose job is to pick-off any retaliatory strikes after the US-NATO preemptive strikes. \nThe former Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty (ABM) between the US and Russia didn’t allow the development of these kind of ‘missile defense’ systems. DESCRIPTION:The arms race is moving into space. Since the end of World War II\, the US has aimed to “control and dominate” space. In 2019 the Trump administration created the ‘Space Force’ to further operationalize this space control mission. Now\, as the US sets it sights on maintaining its global unipolar hegemony\, the militarization of space is proceeding more rapidly than ever. \nThis webinar will address the realities and dangers of space militarization\, including how the profiteers of the military-industrial complex drive the process.\n\nPresenters\nOur presenters are with the Global Network Against Weapons and Nuclear Power in Space: https://space4peace.org/.\n\n\n\nBruce Gagnon has been organizing on space issues since 1982 and co-founded the Global Network in 1992\, which he still coordinates. He has spoken around the world and published many articles related to the militarization of space and other issues related to war and peace He has been an activist and organizer almost all of his adult life and blogs regularly at Organizing Notes.\n\n\nDave Webb is the Convener of the Global Network board of directors. He is a retired university engineering professor who switched to Peace and Conflict Studies. He was also co-founder and Director of the Praxis Centre (for the study of Information and Technology for Peace\, Conflict Resolution and Human Rights) at Leeds Beckett University. The webinar is a live stream of an invitation-only workshop being conducted by the ICBE-EMF (International Commission on the Biological Effects of Electromagnetic Fields) at the Royal Society of Medicine in London on June 14.\nThe program features presentations by Kent Chamberlin\, Erica Mallery-Blythe and James Lin\, with commentary by John Frank. David Gee is the moderator. Chamberlin\, Mallery-Blythe\, Frank\, and Gee are members of ICBE-EMF. \nJames Lin is a life fellow of the IEEE\, and was Editor-in-Chief of the journal\, Bioelectromagnetics from 2006-2022\, and a Commissioner of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) from 2004 to 2016. He published an article in the June 2023 issue of IEEE Microwave Magazine that criticizes ICNIRP’s radiofrequency radiation (RFR) guidelines\, including millimeter waves used for 5G. Lin justifies his position\, in part\, based on ICBE-EMF’s assumptions paper which critiques FCC and ICNIRP RFR guidelines.
