Global Action Days: March 22/23
International Action to Save our Copper Analogue Landlines is set for the weekend of 22/23 March, 2025, and you are invited to join in!
The copper analogue landline urgently needs to be preserved. In contrast to Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP), the copper analogue landline works during a power outage, and is a lifeline for many, particularly the Electro Hypersensitive, the elderly, or those who simply want a secure and benign form of communication.
Suggested Actions
Take or make a picture of a corded Landline Telephone, a Telephone Booth, or anything else Landline related, and add a “Save our Copper Analogue Landlines!” message + name of country, and share it on Facebook at, Global Protest for Freedom 22/23 March and send to team@safetechinternational.org.
Contact Your Political Representative
Contact your political representative for a visit to present the Save our Copper Analogue Landlines petition, which to date has garnered over 2:500 signatures and includes hundreds of poignant and informative comments by signatories.
Consider writing a letter to your elected rep or local media outlet. You can riff off of the following sample letter:
Dear …..
We are writing regarding plans to phase out the analogue copper Landline network, which urgently needs to be preserved.
Our copper analogue landlines are quite literally Lifelines. They provide reliable, high quality, secure and affordable voice service, which is essential for the Electro Hyper-sensitive, the elderly, businesses and many others who have chosen not to use wireless technology or to make calls through an Internet connection.
Dismantling landlines will cost us safety, health as well as jobs, and will cut off critical emergency communications access for millions of people. Re-investing in our copper telephone landline network will be beneficial for Public Health, Security and Ecology. Copper landlines serve as a necessary, reliable and safe alternative to power-grid dependent and energy-consumptive communications systems like VOIP or wireless transmissions.
During a Power outage, VOIP will not be available which may cause loss of life. It will also require the modem to be kept on 24/7 for round the clock access via a generator (if the homeowner or business has one) needlessly expending energy and harming the environment.
Mobile systems are, of course, harmful to health and wildlife. People with EHS (now also called EMR-Syndrome) are the Canaries in the Coalmine as they perceive the health impacts but all humans (and animals) are electrosensitive. There is no longer any question as to whether wireless Radio Frequency (RF) radiation – used in mobile phone communications and wireless devices – is harmful to both humans and wildlife. Tens of thousands of scientific papers (linked below) have cited connections to the role of EMFs in a multitude of adverse health effects, including depression, infertility, cancer, damage to DNA/gene expression, oxidative stress, pregnancy complications, melatonin production, neurological disorders, immune dysfunction, Alzheimers/dementia, leukemia, etc. The list grows longer by the day.
Over 1,600 scientific papers can be found HERE.
Another 4000+ studies can be found HERE.
And another 23,840 studies are linked HERE.
Finally, here is a recent compilation of the vast number of known biological effects from wireless radiation:
We ask you do all that is possible to ensure protection in Law for our treasured Copper Landline Network.
We look forward to your reply,
Yours sincerely,

NB: For those who want to keep the focus on stopping Low Earth Orbit Satellites, that is still as urgent as ever. Below you will find info on satellites.
Overview of Satellites
Satellites.
Although quite vulnerable to devastating cyber attacks, satellites are used for the vast majority of Earth-based electronic systems such as GPS, banking, electrical and water grids and so forth, many of which could be managed more effectively and safely with primarily wired connections.
In addition to these applications, satellites are considered essential for surveillance, control, mining (both in space and in the ocean), dominance, military might, and warfare, none of which we opted for.
Problems from satellites include space debris, depletion of the ozone layer, risk of devastating cyber attacks, pollution from rocket launches and “dead” satellites burning up in the atmosphere, collisions, plutonium and uranium spills from nuclear-powered satellites and space vehicles, increase in EMFs, compromise of the night sky, interference with astronomical research and weather forecasting, effects on wildlife including navigation, vastly more energy consumption, and the “promise” to increase the lethality of war.
Please consider joining in with an action as all our voices, hearts, minds, and visions are urgently needed now.
We did not ask for a world where every person, “thing”, event, and moment in time is connected to the internet to be monetized and used to track, manipulate, and control us. Nor did we agree to living in a sea of radiation. We did not consent to the use of the ocean, Heavens, and Earth for corporate self-gain and war, or for our children to be seduced by technology designed to addict.
Raising awareness
Raising public awareness about EMFs requires nothing more than stating the bare facts. No hyperbole or spin needed – the facts speak for themselves. When people understand the full scope of our hyper-connected world and the toxic resources and extractive mining practices used to support our ever growing tech-appetite, they often feel moved to stop this anti-life assault on all beings.
Please join in with your unique voice, and kindly share these dates widely.
For more information and/or to post your messages/pictures, kindly visit the Facebook group, Global Action to Stop 5G. Please remember to add name of your country to your message! The pictures will be collated and sent on to media outlets.
With hope for a simpler and saner life style that better respects Earth’s offerings, and that we once again find our place in the intricate, interconnected, and awesome web of life.
Dear Safe-Tech team,
We are desperately in need of keeping the analogue system in Moray & across the Scottish Highlands, since many older & disabled and electro-sensitive rural residents cannot use mobile phones, many older disabled people cannot use the internet, which is also vulnerable to interruptions.
Also, we have been groomed to accept a decline in sound quality, encouraged to use only mobiles and digital phones, which negatively interact with many hearing aids and cause stressful and upsetting communication problems, forcing the frail elderly into complete isolation.
Personally, I will be left without any non-digital mode of communication with my 96 year old parent who cannot use the internet or mobiles, and yet more of the painful symptoms of electro-sensitivity (initially caused by military microwave-weapon attack in the 1980s)This removal – to support the digi-tech industries – is as reckless and short termas Dr Beeching’s 1960s destruction of the rail network to boost the car industry. Our politicians are mostly indifferent, ignoring issues of choice/access and non-discrimination? I attach a photo of my lovely vintage phone with perfect sound quality.
Thank you,
Beverley A’Court, North of Scotland, UK
